See to Solve was created by Dr. Steven Spear of MIT Sloan School of Management who noticed that small sparks persistently turned into big fires, damaged productivity, and even dethroned once-dominant companies. This is why Dr. Spear and his team created See to Solve: so responders know right away where their help is needed, so problems don’t fester, and managers have rich, real-time data to see where and why their attention should be directed.

See to Solve is dedicated to helping companies quickly respond to internal needs so they can effectively deliver market needs. We create tools to help companies visualize what is possible, and offer solutions that enable organizations to identify processes where value is created and delivered.

Dr. Steve Spear

Founder

Steve is principal of HVE LLC, a senior lecturer at MIT, and a senior fellow at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement. Author of Decoding the DNA of the Toyota Production System, The High Velocity Edge, and most recently Wiring the Winning organization, Steve is considered a Continuous Improvement thought leader. He has been advisor to a Treasury Secretary, an Undersecretary for VA Health Affairs, a Chief of Naval Operations, a Chief of Naval Research, two PACFLT commanders, the director of the Army’s Rapid Equipping Force, and corporate leaders.

Maria Mentzer

Chief Marketing Officer

Maria is a strategic leader with over 20 years of business, continuous improvement and leadership experience spanning manufacturing, operations, supply chain, sales, engineering, marketing, business development, embedded IT, organizational development, DE&I, coaching and mentoring. As a continuous improvement culture champion, Maria has helped numerous organizations adopt and sustain a high velocity learning culture.

Daniel is a serial entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience translating clients’ business needs into user-friendly, durable, powerful software solutions.
He is a lead representative for clients such as Walter Reed Military Medical Center, GlaxoSmithKline, UMass Memorial Hospital, Baptist Memorial Hospital, GL Automotive.

James Wolfe

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Highly motivated, enthusiastic, with 20+ years of experience, skilled in project management, hiring, requirement gathering, software architecture, writing and customer relationship management, James is responsible for the architecture, interface and development of the See to Solve continuous improvement software suite and hosting infrastructure. He works closely with customers to determine their software needs and to bring them to reality.
